Re: [GSAS-Member] BAP/HAP

Betty, you were the first person I thought of when the BAP/HAP was explained.
I'd read about it at the GSAS site, too and thought, "Whoa...that's way to deep
for me" :)

Growing old is inevitable; growing up is optional.

I know that I browsed through some of the rules I found on-line for these
programs. It was a bit daunting <G>. I was so proud of myself for spawning
and actually rearing to adulthood some wild-type honey gouramis. I ran
into real problems figuring out how to get those little babies through
their initial air-breathing days. When I actually got some fry that looked
like they were going to make it, I was thrilled. But I didn't have TEN
babies make it, and I wasn't gonna give them all to folks <G>...at least
until I knew whether I could maintain this breeding pool. So much for my
BPA points <G>.

UPDATE: The honey gourami fry are now coloring up. I know I have at least
one male! I've got 6 that made it to adulthood....now, it'll be
interesting to see if I can get a second-generation.
