[GSAS-Member] HAP/BAP

GSAS:

Since the topic tonight is reefkeeping I thought I would kick off the HAP/BAP
season with a bucket of fresh water plants.... So I might not be organized or
on topic but I do have a jungle going to the point that that trumpet snails are
coming out during the photo-period so it is either GSAS of the compost pile!
Expect Ludwigia, chain sword, and the famous E. diversifolia. Bring a bag if
you would like anything in particular and the extras can go to the door prize.

Our guest speaker for the March meeting will be Mike O'Brien
of the Puget Sound Aquarium Society, the saltwater equivalent
of GSAS. The topic will be "Getting started in saltwater
fishkeeping and reefkeeping (I think "reefkeeping is a legitimate
word) and will be covered in a question & answer format, along
with an introduction to PSAS and Reef Frontiers, a saltwater
website that Mike is deeply involved with. So, if you would
like to learn all about getting into this fascinating aspect of the
hobby, be sure to make it to the March 8 meeting. Bring all your
saltwater questions with you, and be ready for an interesting
evening. Saltwater aquariums don't have to be nearly as expensive
or complicated as you might think! _______________________________________________
