Re: [GSAS-Member] HAP award request (draft)

Anita:

So let me phrase my response a little differently: So HAP is back! GSAS will be
rewarding points based on the rules posted on the GSAS webpage
http://www.gsas.org/Articles/hap.html as is with no alterations. My post is a draft of
my interpretation of the posted "Summiting" requirements posted on the GSAS
announce list. As more people post we can work through what works and what does not and
make changes but I want to keep the process as simple and complete as possible so that
many people participate. We can work through viewing/documentation as need be so don't
let that stop you. For any 'brown' wet thumbs there is also the BAP so that everyone can
play along!

Okay, I'll exercise some (a little) patience. I just like to understand.

Sorry for the confusion Anita. My Hap post is a test run of how to document
points obtained to receve a HAP award. I listed plants I have grown and my
tank specs as a sample. It appears that my more detailed reply last night did
not make it to the listserve so I will try again when I get home.

instance, my largest tank is a newly set up 55 gal, and my best tank is a 20 gallon.
Does the fact that I don't have a 60 gallon with injectable CO2 leave me out of the
contest? Also, does someone come to my tank & inspect my tank, or do I have to
dig up my best plants to bring them in? And why are so many plants missing? Etc.
