RE: [GSAS-Member] Algae control



Steev,

Looks like there is enough email on this subject to make an article for
the newsletter on.  Sometimes I wonder if we miss an opportunity when we
do not take some of what is sent via email and formalize it into an
article for the newsletter.  I know all of the email is saved, yet, it
is only within our club.  Our newsletter seems to reach a bit further
outside our club.  Any thoughts on this?

Another point is that by putting nutrients in the substrate you can use
those which are NOT as soluble in water. Plants with roots can still
utilize these nutrients but they are less available to algae because
they haven't dissolved yet.

Like putting bonemeal under your onions.
