Okay, saw them in the store yesterday, they were just silvery, with some nice irridescent marks and the smallest rim of red on some of their fins. Dumped them in a too small, but completely overgrown plant, which seemed to make them very comfortable -- the could be as visible as they wanted to be. Today 2 of them (the largest) are turning bright red already (color seems to be coming from the belly up, so the bottom is redder than the top). Should I take that as a sign that those two are already pairing off? Anita P.S. I bought several, simply because I was able to negotiate a really good price and thought I'd need to have a group for a while before any paired off, so anyone who would like a few jewel cichlids, please let me know. _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
