Subject: [GSAS-Member] Apistogramma Spawning Behavior?
This morning I noticed something unusual from the two Apistogramma sp.
Apache. Normally, the bigger one chases the smaller one. However, today
they were both in a corner, and showing strong dark vertical bars. The
larger one had its fins splayed out. I put the food in and they
immediately reverted back to their normal coloring and behavior. Any
breeding suggestions?
Also, a man on Beacon Hill is selling most of his large Central and
South American cichlids. He is moving them today at noon. If interested
in buying/viewing his fish and tanks for sale, write back and I will
call and ask him. He only has glass tanks, and is selling them for a
$1.25 per gallon. After returning from Acupuncture studies back East, he
wants to set up a warehouse and breed the fish for sale.
Susan
