Hi Susan,

Did you try sanding the outside of the tank with those grits? I am interested in knowing if they leave a haze and require some polishing after using them.

You may not see this effect on the inside of the tank, even it is there since the water "hides" it.

Okay, I have successfully used the 2400 and 3200 grit abrasive cloth this
morning, with no ill affect to the inhabitants. Not only did it work very
well, it took the algae off in a flash! I did siphon water out near the work
site to be on the safe side. All fish are fine, and are showing breeding
colors as well!
