Subject: [GSAS-Member] "Mr. P" needs a new home
Date: Wed, 27 Jul 2005 16:12:45 -0700
"Mr. P" is a standard issue plecostomus who has grown way too big for his
tank (45 gal.) to the point where he, or she, trashes the aquascaping and
poops out foot-long turds which lay all over the bottom and festoon the few
plants that have managed to stay rooted. This is a living room tank. Not
good.
"Mr. P" is in very good health, keeps the tank algae-free (eats mostly
algae wafers) and seems to have a pleasant personality. Length is just
under 12", nose to tip of tail, with a beam of about 2". Tankmates are two
large altum angels and some giant danios. Water is very acidic (pH < 6.0)
but I'm sure Mr. P would adapt to other water conditions.
Mr. P would be happy in a much bigger tank. Free to good home. Anyone
interested? Email or call me at 206-938-1583.
