RE: [GSAS-Member] Was: Articles, Now Snorkeling Equipment

Don,

I looked at Costco today and didn't find the gear you talk about. This doesn't surprise me because most of that stuff is strictly seasonal at Costco. Could you tell us the manufacturer and any part/model numbers?

Hi Monica,
Our family just got back from a trip to the Western Caribbean and did
some wonderful snorkeling. We swam with sting rays in Sting Ray City in
Grand Cayman and had unbelievable snorkeling also in Cozumel and
Bahamas.

My most important tip may be too late for you. Buy your own equipment.
We bought a snorkeling kit at Costco and are darn glad we did! It came
with a new technology air release snorkle, hypoallergenic mask and nice
fins all in a great carrying case for $40. The conditions a lot of the
rental equipment is kept in isn't the most sterile. So even though we
had to haul the stuff with us, we were happy we did.
Have a great trip!

Hi Steev, I am in NY right now, soon to be in Bermuda. I'll

there.

PS - If anyones been to Bermuda and has any tips about snorkeling or
