RE: [GSAS-Member] AGA contest

I have seen a lot of nice planted tanks (Anita, Deb, Susan... just to name a few), why not consider entering? Some day I may consider entering, but right now my planted tank looks too random, and I don't have that eye yet for a good planted tank. Some day. :)

Is any one in the club interested in participating in this years AGA contest? I am still looking for someone with decent photography skills and other tanks in the area to include! I would be happy to drive.

The next major event is the AGA contest which ends on September 15th . This annual contest put on by the Aquatic Gardeners Association focusing on aquascaping so if you have an planted tank or know someone who does entering might be fun! Link to details: http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/2005.cgi However, even though I have the requisite planted tank I do not quite have the aquascaping/photography skills to give it my all. Therefore I would like to extend an offer or plan a gathering so that those with tanks and photography skills in the area can meet up and hopefully do a few houses. Think Home Show with an international audience. Let's put together a strong showing (the president of the AGA is our very own Eric Olsen!)
