I've run into some health problems which are wearing me down, and I need to alleviate the burden somewhat by getting rid of my 3 - 20 gallon tanks. I've tried to sell them with only a few nibbles, so at this point I'm willing to give them to fellow aquarists. If you want to give me some money for them, I could really use it, but it is essential that I lighten my load, I cannot keep them up. Tank 1: Onyx sand substrate, really nice piece of bogwood, lots of matching basalt rocks. A biowheel-filter, submersible heater, glass top, flourescent light strip. Contains a whole bunch of dwarf java fern & hornwort. Currently home to about 50 jewel cichlid fry. Also has a metal stand, the type that would fit a 10 gallon below. It's a great tank for Tank 2: Has a fluorite/sand substrate, a piece of bogwood with lots of java moss, and lots of plants (including a lot of water wisteria). This has been my test tank, so can't really name every plant I've stuck in there, but definitely a variety. Aqua Clear filter (old, but works & is big enough for a much larger tank), submersible heater, & glass top. NO LIGHT! Current inhabitants include a nice angelfish who was odd man out when some angels paired up, a siamese algae eater, and a sailfin pleco. Tank 3: This is a total experiment on a "low-tech" aquarium. I've got a power filter doing water circulation, a flourescent light strip, and a substrate of potting soil layered with sand. It's got a magnificent amazon sword and some other plants, but as a work in progress, this is turning into a "black water" aquarium. If you're interested in any of these setups, please reply to me offline. Each setup comes as a unit, and though some money would be nice, it is not essential. You'll have to decommission the tank(s) that you choose. _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
