Re: [GSAS-Member] Free water lily
I've been looking for one, Bob, for my pond. I even thought about
taking one out of Lake Washington, but never had the opportunity.
If it still available, I'd love to pick it up within the next few days
or week.

Some time ago I bought a "tropical water lily" and planted it in one of
my tanks. It was supposed to stay small, but it didn't. Yesterday I
pulled it out, and now it's outside in a big bucket. If anyone is
interested in adopting this monster let me know.
Pads are 6" - 8" dia. Big root system. Would work well in a big tank or
a pond. Probably won't winter over outside. Doesn't seem to need a lot
of light.
Water lilies in a tank don't look like much unless you like stems, or
you're on a ladder.
