I pretty much had stopped "egg watching" for a while, and had pretty much
quit thinking about my fish spawning, until tonight.  I was just turning off
the lights in all my tanks when I got a few big shocks!  1. My jewels were
bright red and several eggs were laid on the bog wood.  2. Someone in my
angel growout tank laid a bunch of eggs on a piece of wood.  3. Someone in
my discus growout tank laid eggs on an upward flowering pot, and 4, I took a
peek in one of my community tanks and found about 100 fry swarming around
one of my kribensis cichlids.  I guess you stop looking for a week and they
start getting all wild.  I truly am shocked.  I just wish I knew if I had
angel and discus pairs yet.  I know I have 1 angel pair for sure, and am 99%
certain I have a discus pair, but I have a lot of suspensions about the
others.  I feel like I have my own soap opera going on.  lol.  When it rains
babies/eggs it pours.
