My tank was planted for awhile, Its still got live plants and the such but nothing exotic anymore. Ive since retired the CO2 and fertilizing etc... not enough time to maintain the nice planted tank anymore. I have pretty much all bottom grazing fish. These guys keep the tank fairly clean but generally are spoiled with wafers so they don?t really eat the algae much. I don?t think they mess up the plants anymore than any other fish in my tank. Which are mostly loaches. ~DREW -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of John Ruhland Sent: Friday, January 06, 2006 3:52 PM To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] I'll be at the meeting. How are they in planted tanks? I'm looking for something fairly small, yet interesting looking, to do a little cleaning in my 72 gallon planted tank (with two Angels). I took out the pleco, because he seemed to be stirring things up a bit too much. Not actually eating plants, but perhaps damaging them. Based on all the responses I got on here I'll make a list of who wants what etc and probably just take trades while I'm there as opposed to $. I just ultimately want to get them into good homes. :) Now, the fun part, netting them! I'm off to go setup the temp tank and start netting the 'lil buggers! ~Drew -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Friday, January 06, 2006 8:34 AM To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] I'll be at the meeting. Drew- I am one of the people who asked to have 4 bristle nose, 2 male 2 female if possible. I'll bring containers for them as well, so no worries about bagging them. Also I offered for trade some young endler live bearers....are you interested in them? If not how much $$$ would you like for the bristle nose? See you Tuesday!
