Re: [GSAS-Member] Albino Bristlenoses Update

Thanks very much Drew! Mine are doing great and are already chowing down on algae on the side of my planted tank. Thanks to Trish who gave me endlers. They are swimming happily around in my small 5g heavily planted tank w/ shrimp. Thanks Mark for the killifish. They are BEAUTIFUL. I have them alone in a 60g right now while I get their new 4g tank set up... boy will they be in for a surprise to go from a 60 -4g. Finally, thanks Susan! The new discus seems to be doing well with the others his size. He's a little shy but I would be too if I spent a few hours in a bucket then was put into a new tank. :) I really enjoyed the speaker today. It made me want to go on a fish collecting trip. :) I newer knew swordtails and platys were so fascinating.

My new guy also looks happy. Thanks to Drew, and also to Dave for the sag which will look fantastic when I plant it in the background.

Thanks Drew!

I put mine in two different tanks, I am sure the
warmer water felt good on them. Will watch them
tomorrow to see how they are doing. I laready have 1
pair in a 30 gallon long....but am thinking they are 2
males, for no babies yet, and have had them now for
about 2 years, and they both have bristles....So since
the ones I got from you do not have bristles and are
about the same size, am assuming they are female? So
may do some switching around over the weekend.

Thanks again!!!

Trish

Hope you enjoyed the meeting, and getting to meet a
few of us!

Hi all!

I got all the available ones netted and there's only
10 :( I
guesstimated around 15 but in a 130gal tank I was
off a lil bit.
Sometimes you see none, sometimes you see a ton! 10
is pretty good
though!

I understand the meeting is at PSU building 28 at
730pm tonight so I'll
be up sometime around then, my first time, don't
know anyone so look for
the young tall guy holding a clear Rubbermaid
container.

Here's the list of people I got responses from:

Paul
Meredith
Monica
Trish
Deb
Don Rudee
Kevin Matt
Dave

Figure out who wants what etc when I'm there I
suppose :) I wish I could
give you all two pair but like I said there are only
10 :/
