Robert,There are tons of great killie web sites. I'd start with www.aka.org, and the affiliate sites linked off of the aka site. Also Google any species you are interested in to get lots more info on them.
Golden Wonders are plant spawners (if my memory serves). I've never kept them myself. You might just make up some spawning mops (from yarn), and forget about silk/fake plants. The idea is to have something for the eggs to stick to, and be hidden by. Fake/silk plants will provide the first, but not really the second.
If you come to the local killie club meeting in Feb., I'm sure one of the other members can give you plenty of advice on the golden wonders. In addition, there is likely to be some plant spawners that are even nicer, available for purchase in the auction.

Mark, do you think (or know) if those killies that petsmart has (Golden Wonder or something) are they plant spawning? I really am new to these fish but now that I have an empty 10, I am really anxious to get something in there. Soon as I can get my 20H I'll be able to use the 40W light on that tank and plant it with real plants. But, for right now, plastic/silk will have to do. Anyways, if you know of any good killie information sites, please let me in on the secret! For a 10 gallon, you might consider going with some nice plant spawning killies. Generally some are available either through a local club (NWK, or PSK), the national club (AKA), or on-line (www.aquabid.com). If you want annuals killies, which are what I primarily raise, then keep your eye open for posts from me. I generally make fish available to GSAS members first, before I sell them on the net. One last thing... on April 8th and 9th is a very big killie convention in Portland called West Coast Weekend. Saturday is full of talks with varying subjects, and authoritative speakers. Sunday has the big auction with all sorts of killies and related stuff. Here you can get some amazing fish, and some amazing deals too. Melinda is enertainingtheidea of having some of these in the 10 that will soon be empty. Along those lines, it looks as though I have possibly two more pairs of the same species (Nothobranchius guentheri). So I'm going to make the same offer as before ($5/per pair, or free if you join the local killie club... dues $12/yr). I'm pretty sure Sandu was interested in a pair. (Please confirm that Sandu.) If anyone else is interested, let me know. First come, first served. I will need a little time for the ones left to grow up and color up a bit to confirm I do indeed have two more pairs, so none of this is written in stone. But if not, I'll always be hatching more in the future... so fear not!
