That is good to know. I have him in a tank that has kind of turned into a "whatever" fish tank. Currently it's a semi-aggressive tank. It's 100g and has angels, some smaller severums, a pleco, and a few corys. He ate one of the smaller angels, but doesn't go after anything large. I no longer keep anything smaller than him in it. He and the pleco get into fights occasionally because they like the same log, but nothing bad. Usually he backs down first. He does a great job keeping the tank clean, and is friendly. Very cool to look at. Here's a pic of him:

When I kept red clawed crabs they would molt every 1-3 months.

The shrimp in my reef tank seems to do it every 3 weeks.

I'm not sure what is normal for a fw lobster but I would guess you'll
see it a few times each year.

How is he to keep? Does he try to catch your fish? I love inverts.
