One of my two angelfish went from fine to dying overnight. This morning he is darker in color, and he was hunkered in the corner behind some wood. He did not come out to eat breakfast. I did a water change this morning which seems to have had no effect. So I moved him to a large, empty tank. He swam around exploring the tank for about 10 minutes, but now sits at the top of the water with his nose pointed down, hovering. His fins and some of his scales are now tattered because the other angel was picking on him. They spar frequently but have not injured each other since last year after I moved them both to a new tank. I see nothing wrong with him other than the damage his buddy angel did to him. Also, the dozens of other inhabitants in the tank he was in are all fine. Any ideas what's wrong with my fish or what I should do? I do not have much experience with fish disease. I have only ever treated ich. All I have on hand is salt and Pimafix. Thanks.
