I've got one tank with 8 Botia sidthimunki and I have noticed that they don't handle the larger snails well. They do seem to be holding the MTS population in check, although the larger pond snails and ramshorns are untouched. Maybe if I stopped feeding the loaches they'd take on the big snails (wink). I wish they'd eliminate the MTS totally like the Botia striata in another tank have done (whew)! They did dig up the substrate quite a bit to do so though!
