I'd love frogs, if you think they'll do OK in my small urban pond (cats, racoons, huge birds, minimal hiding places). I don't want to raise catfood. I think the frogs are larger than the Pacific Chorus Frog and are brown. The salamanders are smaller than the tadpoles and have two tiny front legs and the external gills. I believe they turn into a black newt with a yellow stripe down the back and has tiny light-blue dots on the belly.
