Re: [GSAS-Member] Off topic, but...

Holly,
For you or anyone else who might need a place, a friend of mine, Erica
Kay, rents out rooms in her home. She sent out an email a month or so
ago saying she was looking for someone. It would save you money, and
provide a community of people.
I'll cc this to her, and hopefully she responds to you. Otherwise, feel
free to contact her directly.
John

I hope you all don't mind me putting this out there. I am in the
middle of
a big life change and figure a little networking can't hurt. I am
hoping
that some of you might keep your eyes open for apartments that might
suit
me. I have a lease through Sept 14, but can move at in August or
whenever
the right place becomes available.

I am looking to move from Issaquah back into the city. My first choice
would be Capitol Hill, but I'm really open to anywhere in the city. I'm
hoping to be closer to more young people and singles than Issaquah
offers.
The trouble is that I have a 35 pound dog who limits my options. I also
have two cats that I'm hoping to keep since my partner isn't willing to
take
care of any of our animals. They're a darn sweet little animal family.
  I
would prefer to be near a park to walk my doggy each day. I cannot pay
a
lot at this time, so I'm hoping to pay $650-725 for a 1 bedroom. I
realize
this is a tall order, but I figure that maybe some of you see signs out
and
about that have better deals or different ads than the papers offer.
I'm
trying to keep the faith :)

Here's my doggy:

She's a total sweetheart and has lived in apartments her entire 5 years
so
she's well-suited to a small place.

And the best friend brothers I've had since the second they were born:

I will probably soon post my fish and probably all of my tanks for
sale. I
absolutely hate to give up tanks, plants, and fish that I've had for
years
and put a lot of love into but I do not anticipate having room, time, or
even money for what I currently have. I will wait and see on some of
that
for now and post fish and equipment when I decide what I have to do
about
it.

Lastly, I am looking for administrative work if any of you hear of
anything.
Thank you so much for keeping me in mind. I truly appreciate it.

Holly
