If you are interested in attending an Aquatic Gardener's Convention Nov. 
10-12 it is a great time to hear cutting edge speakers on plants (they are 
having speakers out from Tropica this year), and great auction, and IT IS 
IN SAN FRANCISCO.  Normally it is really hard to find a hotel at ANY 
reasonable price but the AGA got a rate of $99 a night!!!  UNBELIEVABLE 
FOR SAN FRANCISCO.  That rate though is only guaranteed through SEPT 
9th!!!  So if you are interested register NOW, and tell them you are there 
for the AGA convention.

Also, Southwest Airlines has airfare specials right now, so it is $79 each 
way to Oakland (and then you take BART over) and $69 each way from 
Portland. (and a like $100 each way from TX)   Who can beat that!!  A 
great place for the family to explore

to make.  (probably the only one we will have on this coast!!)
