I maintained a Puget sound tank in a 55 gal in my classroom for the year with no chiller. Most intertidal animals do fine at room temperature. I would advise to keep stocking levels low, do frequent water changes, and use as large a tank as possible. dave -----Original Message----- From: Jenny Crampton [mailto:beanbucket@gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 12:01 PM To: gsas-member@thekrib.com Subject: [GSAS-Member] coldwater marine aquarium Hi, Has anyone here set up a coldwater marine aquarium with local fauna and flora? I have seen very little information about it on the internet and in books. The one book I did find with a couple pages on the subject was geared toward Atlantic critters. --Jenny _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
