Re: [GSAS-Member] Denny's has galaxy rasboras: $25 each

I feel the same about most fish stores. For them fish are products, and
they'll do what they need to in order to make money rather than what is
best for the fish. To me, Liems is an example of a store where it would
be horrible to be a fish. It is dirty, dead fish float in the tanks,
etc. To support stores that care well for the fish, I'd rather buy
tanks and equipment from them, and get fish from other hobbyists.

I'm trying to sell my Daffodil bichardi's now, possibly as a complete
set-up. They are breeding very happily and consistently. I'm slowly
trying to downsize, especially since the power outage and watching Al
Gore's film about global warming. I highly recommend that film to
others.

Any store that sells kittens and puppies = automatic boycott from me.
If you know anything about puppy mills and the horrors this trade
creates, you already understand why.

This unfortunately leaves me with very few choices of LFS in the
Seattle area, since for some reason most of the shops out here with any
interesting fish (fish gallery and pets, and apparently, dennys) seem
compelled to discard any and all moral decency and participate in this
disgusting trade.
