Gardneris are one of the most common of killifish. The females are less
colorful than the males. I am sure there is someone at Northwest Killies who
can help you. Killifish people use the scientific names of the fish rather
than common name. "Clown" gardneri is one I've never heard of for example.

Hi there,
I have so far unsuccessful finding a female. If you know of a local shop
that can order this fish or an online provider willing to sell a sexed
single or if you have one yourself, please point me in the right direction.
I understand that they are really, really, hard to sex which is why no one
will sell them as guaranteed.
I guess, if you know for sure you can sex them on sight, let me know that
too. A Place for Pets gets them but doesn't sell them sexed. I need to
bring my own expert.
Thanks
Shango
