Re: [GSAS-Member] Fluorite , bogwood and swords...

Susan,

The four pieces I have are pretty big, they filled the 75E that I was using
them in. That's the biggest that I have, if you're interested.

Wow, hi Deb, Happy Valentine's day. Do you or anyone else have any huge
pieces of bog or submersible wood for a 180 gallon?

I'm taking down my 75G tank and have LOTS of fluorite available. It was
about 3" deep in the tank. There is also a small amount of sand and some
larger pebbles mixed in.

After everyone bought plants last night, if you need some of this let me
know and come get it! Make me an offer on some or part. I'm more interested
in getting it used than I am anything else.

I also have some bogwood with java fern and java moss attached. This,
however, is also covered with BBA. Hydrogen peroxide worked to get rid of it
in the past and I'm sure it could work again. I'll let the wood go for
relatively cheap. I hate to see the plants die but I just don't have the
time or desire to get rid of the stuff (hence why the tank is going to be a
home for my Boa for awhile). Again, make me an offer on the wood, the plants
are free ;-)

Also have some Amazon swords for those of you that didn't get enough last
night. They're in good shape, just need some leaves taken off and a chance
to come in where there's not a lot of algae.

I'd love to have some of this or all if it gone tonight.

Thanks!
Deb

Does someone have a slide projector they can bring? I think I'll need it for
the presentation. Also, I'm very much looking forward to the meeting, a few
folks from GSAS said they might attend too.

If you weren't at the GSAS auction last night, it was a total hoot, lots of
great plants, lots of fish, spirited bidding and hard work by the
organizers. Definitely I'm looking forward to the next big auction in April
of fish and dry goods.

Matt
