I've seen a large one at pet store, it was very cool, with iridescent blue in its eyes. I would keep it if I was you! I adopted Shango's dwarf puffers last week. They are great. But one of them... I thought he looked different. He sure as heck was meaner than the rest. More striped than spotted... different color too. I was suspicious that he wasn't a DP. I got ID help from the dwarfpuffer.com forums. It looks like one of my DPs is actually a young Fahaka puffer, AKA Nile puffer (Tetraodon fahaka). They get to be a foot long and are mean as spit. (!) Here's the forum thread, my pics and a link to a video of a Fahaka eating a crayfish. http://dwarfpuffers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=43742 How can something so cute be so mean? :) Where am I going to put a 125 gal tank, and how long do I have to figure that out? -- Matt Staroscik matt@wrongcrowd.com | http://wrongcrowd.com _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
