Subject: [GSAS-Member] Fluval 304 for parts
My Fluval 304 housing broke. I haven't had great luck with it (last year
the impeller shaft shattered) so I replaced it.
If anyone is interested in having it for parts let me know and I'll let
you know where to pick it up (near Roosevelt/Ravenna). Except for the
filter housing everything else is in good shape. In particular the motor
and impeller are fine, the impeller shaft isn't very old, and all of the
baskets and such are there. The tubing probably isn't reusable. I also
have some new filter media for it that I'll include.
Otherwise it'll just end up in the landfill...
This is a first generation Fluval 304, they changed some parts (such as
the impeller shaft) sometime around 2003 and this one predates those
changes.
Please contact me off of the list, I don't read this list very often.
