Re: [GSAS-Member] Fruit Fly starter

Yes, Matt. I'd take one of those starters. I have been looking for an easy
live food option and that looks like a good one.

Would anyone like a starter culture of wingless fruit flies? I, have been
more successful than normal of late and have more than my fish can keep up
with. Culturing info is all over the Internet - I use snapple bottles, foam
stoppers and fruit fly media I got from Ed's Fly Meat, but ordinary instant
potato flakes + some pectin work fine (as do plain old banana peels, but
they get kinda stinky)

I am planning on bringing the weekly plant culls (watersprite mostly) plus
random things for swapping like a surplus tank ornament or two (not the cool
mermaids), ...
