Hi All, It is kind of neat to see the flowers. Last few days I see little white flower from the plant(from Susan) I got at this months' meeting. I wasn't sure they are Vallisneria or Sagittaria at the time. But from the what I see in the dusty plant book I have. I am almost certain that they are one of the Sagittaria family. It is only few weeks after I got them, I'm sure the plant was already forming the flower inside at the time. So I can't take much credit for it but at least they are rooted and surviving enough to shoot out the flower. And seeing tiny white flower in the aquarium is pretty neat. I think this is the 3rd flower I ever got from the aquarium plants I ever owned. I got some fuzzy Rams horn shape like flower from some Aponogeton plant before. They were just like the picture someone posted one of the thread few weeks ago. Yes it was one of the dry bulbs in the package. I got little green flower with white/yellow middle part(l remind me of Calla flower) on the Anubias one time. Probably Anubias Barteri. BTW, I was at the "Fish Store" at the U. District last weeks. And the big flat frogs are still there.(the one someone mentioned few months ago?). They are quite big for the tank they are in or the tank is too small. I saw them go up to surface for air now and then. Just stretch their hinder leg and stand on them and reach to the surface. I think there were 4 of them in the small tank. 4 flat grayish square pancakes. Also I am wondering if anyone go to the GPAS meeting(after all they are sister club, right?). I know some of you is dual member of GSAS and GPAS. Because I would love to tug along if anyone is planning to drive down.(I will chip in the gas) I think their meeting is 4th Tuesday or Saturday. Depends on the month according to their web. It might be fun to organize the field trip of some sort. Since we do not have meeting in July. --------------------------------- Luggage? GPS?
