Hi Thurman:

That sounds exactly what I have been looking for. I will take it.

Subject: [GSAS-Member] Free Trickle Filter

Free trickle filter!

I have a large custom made wet/dry trickle filter for the taking. The base
measures 28" wide and 18.5" deep. The tank is 15" tall in the sump, and 25"
tall with the part that holds the drip pans and bio-balls. It will hold
about 10G (1.5ft3) of bio-balls, and 18G of water to the base of the
bio-balls. Should be able to hold nearly 30G when full.

The filter came with a 100G fresh water aquarium given to me by a friend.
Unfortunately, while the filter does not leak, water has 'escaped' on 3
occasions, so it had to go. I've made modifications that should fix the
problem, but I'm ready to dump it.

This was way too large for a 100G tank. Based on commercial units, I
estimate it could handle up to 300G. Would be ideal for someone who needs to
filter multiple systems.

Email me for pics and a simple CAD drawing.

First come, first served. At this price, absolutely no refunds or returns
;-)
