[GSAS-Member] Young Corydoras Melanotaenia for sale/trade

  Hi all,

I have some young Corydoras Melanotaenias for sale/trade.

They are about 1/2"SL. Frankly, they are not the prettiest of Corydoras but
they can be expensive(I saw they were marked $8.99 at the "Fish Store" few
weeks ago I was there. Of course, they are bigger than I am offering here.
But they do grow fast and I expect another 3~4months, they should be the store
size.) And they are not available all the time. Also they are robust and
hardy. They actually prefer cooler water. Like most other Corydoras, they
would appreciate if they kept on their own group or with some peaceful tank
mate. I keep my 5 adults in unheated(around 70F, pH6.8~7 and Seattle tap) 10G
with power-head with sponge attachment. I might put the heater in fall/winter
if I think the temperature might drop to low 60'sF but they should be fine with
65~75F(the link recommend 68~73F). I will post a link for their picture and
care.

I would like to compensate $2 per fish. They would do better in the group
and I would recommend 5+. They do take pretty much all the fish food. But I
would toss in starter culture of walterworm with purchase if you can raise some
live culture at your place. Please have some permission from your significant
other or roommate.
What the heck, I'll give you 6Th one Free if you buy 5. I have 100 of
them.

OK here is the list of things which comes to my mind, I could use.

    Some Lemon Tetras
    Some Marble Hatchetfish
    Some Galaxy Rasbora
Pair or young Group of German Ram
A 3+" Gold or Platinum Male Angel fish

   A Sponge filter or 2
   20G long tank

That is about all I can think of now. But you can always ask what you can
trade. Who knows that is what I need.

If you are interested, please e-mail me direct. I could bring to the
picnic but I prefer if you can come to my place( I live near the Seattle
Center) since I don't know how long the picnic last. And they would prefer to
be in small container for as short time as possible. I usually check morning
and night. And we can work out the details.

    Thanks.

                       Hiro
