Hello, I keep a fairly large flowerhorn in a 35 hex tank with a fairly small
heater only a 100w it is placed vertical and set half power and it keeps that
tank at warm 80+ so that is my only experience with small tank but my fish is
mean and likes to dig everything up and thrash every thing that he can and
with the vertical heater it get knocked off less.
