Re: [GSAS-Member] preditors?

I started with 6 neons and 6 baby cories. Both came as sets and were
quaruntined. The tank has been up and running for a few years, water seems
fine: soft acid 80*
I thinned out the plants this weekend and didn't find any hidden fish. sigh
that might explain why the red-eyes were in the give-away tank last year.
see you Saturday

likely the problem since you said you didn't see the symptom of sick/illness.>

other on your list. However the Neons like many other tetras they would pick
the weaker in the group or try to establish their pecking order. Especially
they are kept in smaller group. So ideally kept in nice group of 6+ so the
aggression is spread among them. > > I know if any fish die in your tank,
others(tetras, corys and BN) will definately dispose the body. And they can do
so in a day or so. > > And you mentioned the jungle of plants. They are not
hiding in the thicket of plants?> I mean, I did big water change in my
community tank yesterday and I was suprised to see all the Neons come out when
the water did lowerd to half the tank and they gatherd in the group. I mean, my
tank is not super jungle but they do find the way to scatter and do their own
fishy thing to do most of the time. They can be sneaky hiding artist sometime.
It is just a thought. > > meredith crichton <bluedooratwork@hotmail.com>
