Just a note....I personally didn't get success with my red cherry shrimp breeding until I pooled all my shrimp in one fish-less tank. I'd tried to divvy up my shrimp in groups of 6-8 in different tanks. Waited like 8 months. Didn't work. Then someone told me that the minimum number for success in breeding is 10. Obviously you need some of each sex (wink). So, with this color morph, I think trying groups of less than 10 is iffy. I'd really be curious to hear if others have had breeding success with this species (any color morph) in groups of less than 10!
