Maybe in really small quantities; adding random stuff to you water in unknown amounts will cause random effects. Do you know the calcium level in your water? Not just hardness, but hardness due to Calcium? Is Calcium the nutrient that's missing? Are the shrimp failing to molt or reproduce or form proper chorus lines when being fed? There's a lot of unscientific hee haw out there especially in the 'pet fish' industry. One thing that will happen - your water will become harder. This means the pH will tend to stay high, meaning that Ammonia is more toxic in smaller quantities. Sure you want to deal with that? > From: Shango@shangolos.com> To: gsas-member@thekrib.com> Date: Sun, 7 Oct > 2007 10:33:29 -0700> Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] Cuttlebone or Not> > Thanks > for filling in that part of the puzzle for me, Elaine...and I might> take you > up on your offer too.> > Anyone know if I should be incorporating it into the > shrimp environment?> > > > _______________________________________________> > GSAS-Member mailing list> GSAS-Member@thekrib.com> > http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live Hotmail and Microsoft Office Outlook – together at last.
