Hello all, My scuba club is putting together a trip to the Seattle aquarium. I asked and we are welcome to attend. The more people going, the better the chance that we'll get a discount on admission, too. Below is the scuba club email with the info. If you are interested in going, please RSVP with me and I will pass the numbers on to the trip organizer. - Matt S. ---------------------------------------- On Saturday, Nov 17 Moss Bay is having a Day at the Aquarium. If we have enough people sign up, we can get a discounted admission. It is a wonderful way to spend a rainy winter day with the entire family. If you haven't been there in a while, there is the new Window on Washington exhibit. This alone is worth the price of admission. Then there are the exhibits for kids of all ages (including grandparents). Everybody loves the Life on the Edge exhibit. Here everyone can see and touch the sea stars, anemonies, sea cucumbers and more. Grownups love this as much as the kids do. Of course, you will want to see the Dome aquarium with the Puget Sound sea life in it. (Wolf Fish, rays, sharks, salmon, rock fish, and many more). Plus the Pacific Coral Reef tank with the Bamboo sharks, tarpon, puffer, wrasse, butterfly fish, and, of course, many more. The other exhibits have speciality displays of clams, clown fish (little Nemo), seahorses +++. There are large mammals and birds. Fun for everyone! Let me know how many adults and children you have so I can ask for the discount. The time to meet is still negotiable, but I am thinking about noon at the front door.
