Yup! I'm not sure if they can bother them at full size (the clear, flatish snails I'm talking about get to around a 1/2 cm), but they can sure pick off the small ones. I've also watched them dine on other snail eggs, fish eggs, and they seem particularly fond of some sort of skinny ~1cm long nematode that has started showing up in my daphnia tanks. (which I kind of wish they wouldn't eat, because my fry seem to like the nematodes as much as the daphnia).
