Hello friends, I have been struggling with my thermometers to get a stable, controlled temperature reading in my tanks. I am losing the fight and need your experience. Right now I am testing all three of my thermometers in one tank. They are all intertwined to make sure they are reading the same area of the tank. The thermometers are reading 74.4, 77.4, and 80.4. Lame. I bought the thermometers for $6.99 each on ebay. They are the digital kind with the cord. They look like this.as a matter of fact I think these are exactly the ones I have. http://cgi.ebay.com/Digital-Aquarium-Thermometer-also-Terrarium-Vivarium-bl_ W0QQitemZ220192516129QQihZ012QQcategoryZ117435QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem So. I know that the tape strips on the tank are said to be terrible. The digital style I have might be good but I bought a cheap brand, maybe? What is the solution? What technology do I use that is going to be accurate? If it is expensive, so be it. Temperature is too vital to go cheap on it after spending so much other money to make a beautiful tank. Please guide me. Thanks in advance. Shango _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
