I really need to find someone with a koi pond. I guess I should check the koi club first, but maybe there are some overlapping members. I have a Shiro Utsiri that I imported from Hiroshima, but he is just too big for his tank. Water-quality he is fine, as it's filtered 300 gallons per hour, but it's just way to cramped for the tank size. Way to big and aggressive now (the entire floor is dug up at least once daily, it's in their instincts to dig, no matter how fat their belly is). I have really good food to last a while, and he/she needs some friends. I haven't decided if I will build an outdoor pond in the spring yet, so ideally one of you have a pond, or know a good non-profit place like a public park I could donate my baby too, and still be able to see him once and a while. He's coming from a 100% UV filtered environment kept at 76 degrees, so would need to be acclimated over a couple weeks on my side if you have an outdoor setup. I could sell him later, or possible take him back if I decided to go with an outdoor setup. Problem is my house was built in 1901, and I have no way of knowing if I would hit any pipes in the backyard. It's sad but I really can't take care of him anymore. - macker _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
