Hey there Laurel, There was a discussion of these little buggers about 2-3 months ago on the list. Seems they showed up in a lot of folks tanks for the first time all at the same time. (I always secretly suspected they were a conspiracy and came into all of our tanks through the city tap water) No one has found a solid way to get rid of them except for Pea Puffer. You gotta get them early with the Puffer though or they will lay too many eggs and the Puffer won't ever catch up. Shango (For those of you without a dry sense of humor, I was kidding about the conspiracy theory. Kinda) -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Laurel Larsen Sent: Thursday, March 27, 2008 9:48 AM To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat Subject: [GSAS-Member] Whoever was selling java ferns at the auction Thanks for the snails! I've been vigilant in pulling at least 1 out every week in hopes that I'd get them all, but they seem to keep coming back. They're very small and disc shaped. Any input on getting rid of them without ruining my tank for inverts in the future would be appreciated! -Laurel _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
