Glad the Excel treatment is working for you too! I am hopeful that the
"maintenance dosage", in conjunction with regular water changes and
maintenance will prevent reoccurrence, or at least minimize the re-growth in
the future. I don't care if I have a little algae (after all it is part of
nature), I just don't want it to be what people notice first when they look
at the tank!
How is the turface you tried in your 100 gallon working? I have been
thinking how I want to set up the 30 gallon I just got, and I was thinking
of trying something other than the "natural gravel" that I use in my other
tank.
