Hi Matt,
I think that was the package Roy bought was the one I brought in-- at
least, I brought in a medium sized freezer bag with a label that said
"Foreground Package" and contained those plants.
The dwarf babies tears tend to creep off the substrate a little, but they
do make a nice ground cover and in my experience are much easer than the
glossostigma (which I've only managed to get going in two tanks--and just
barely in those). The sag and chain swords (grass) do fine under cheap
shop lights as well...
(((Similar to Bette's disclaimer except worse-- my setup is
"ultra-budget-non-maintanence", meaning if a SAE or ancistrus won't eat
it, or if I can't scrub it off the glass in less than 30 seconds-- it's
staying. They look good to me, and most of the plants I've tried do just
fine, but they aren't exactly coming from an ADA display tank.)))
I owe you some plants after having laughed until I started to tear up
reading your Craigslist write-up a while back. About the time I got to
"Blue shoe, make offer" the neighbours were probably wondering what was
going on. It's unfortunate it's so true...
