Re: [GSAS-Member] Who is eating my Cherry Shrimp?

How large were the red cherry shrimp? Fully adult or smaller size? I've
used both Badis badis and female bettas (different species) as Endler's
fry predators and I'm sure they could also take younger red cherry shrimp.
I KNOW they take the recently released larvae. Both were very aggressive
predators for me. Even in heavily planted tanks, I've eventually lost all
my red cherry shrimp in tanks with loaches except for a 29 gal planted
tank with B. sidthimunki (dwarf loach). Even with really BIG, fully adult
red cherry shrimp. I use Botia striata. I've had red cherry shrimp
breeding with enough larval survival to increase the population ONLY in
fish-less tanks.
