I'd like to half agree with Laurel. Driving down to A Place for Pets is always preferable because of their great service, selection and Kevin's knowledge. While I have never had a stock problem with The Fish Store, their selection and service are spotty. Regardless of the store though I agree that it is better to quarantine. -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Laurel Larsen Sent: Friday, May 09, 2008 7:42 AM To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] Anyone have any apisto cacatuoides? If you're going to The Fish Store, I'd suggest a few weeks in quarantine before you put them in a main tank. Both times I went there hoping to find fish, most of their freshwater stock looked terrible. If you're up for the drive, A Place for Pets has very high quality stock, lots of SA/CA fish and a knowledgeable owner, as well as much lower prices than The Fish Store. It's a bit of a drive to Burien, but I live in Mountlake Terrace and won't go anywhere else. Laurel On May 8, 2008, at 9:55 PM, Monica H wrote: > > Thanks, good to know.
