Re: [GSAS-Member] Anyone have any apisto cacatuoides?

I'd like to half agree with Laurel. Driving down to A Place for Pets is
always preferable because of their great service, selection and Kevin's
knowledge. While I have never had a stock problem with The Fish Store,
their selection and service are spotty. Regardless of the store though I
agree that it is better to quarantine.

If you're going to The Fish Store, I'd suggest a few weeks in
quarantine before you put them in a main tank. Both times I went
there hoping to find fish, most of their freshwater stock looked
terrible. If you're up for the drive, A Place for Pets has very high
quality stock, lots of SA/CA fish and a knowledgeable owner, as well
as much lower prices than The Fish Store. It's a bit of a drive to
Burien, but I live in Mountlake Terrace and won't go anywhere else.
