Re: [GSAS-Member] Custom glass top?

My boyfriend's mother's friend's husband(i know, crazy, but he's
practically family) works at a glass shop and we had him custom cut a
4 piece glass top for our 75 gallon tank. We have 2 6" pieces on the
front with finger holes to lift, and 1 piece for the back of each
side. Each back piece has cutouts for the filters, 1 for my HOB
filter, the other for my canister. It makes it nearly impossible for
the fish to jump out. I can get the name of his company for you if
you like(they're located in South Seattle). I think ours cost around
$40. Most glass shops will be able to do this for you so long as you
give them precise measurements, and perhaps a drawn diagram for any
strange cutouts.
