I'm cleaning off room on my patio, and I need to make these go away.
I have a 29 gallon fish tank that's been sitting on my patio since
last october. It's still in good shape, just a little dirty. I'll
clean it up before you get here if you like. It comes with black
gravel if you want it, if not, I'll throw it away. The trim of the
tank is a grey marble pattern and not offensive at all. It comes with
a lid/canopy thing and a light(nothing special, but they match).
There are some light scratches on the inside of the glass at the
front, but you won't notice them if you keep the glass clean, I didn't
so long as I kept on top of the algae. $20
I have about 25 lbs of "live" rock from my boyfriend's foray into
saltwater. But it's dead now. 1 piece had a couple pest anemones on
it, and he couldn't deal with not controlling everything that happened
in the tank, so he took it all out and boiled it. That was december.
It's been sitting in a rubbermaid container on my patio ever since, so
I'm pretty certain that the pest is dead now, and any 'rotting' that
was likely to take place after boiling it has already taken place. If
you keep hard water fish, you could crush this up and put it in your
filter to buffer the water, or use it to grow beneficial bacteria for
your sw setup. It's all very interesting looking. $20
If there's any interest in either of these, let me know, and I'll take
photos.
