Wowsers! I drive past their place all the time but I've never stopped. Now
I see I can't afford to stop (grin). I think Steev's offer is more up my
alley....I don't need $3,000 koi to play with just to see if I even like
KEEPING them (twitching...hiding wallet). They probably have stuff that
isn't this expensive, but still.... This is a change from my shubunkin
goldfish (my LOVES), and I'm not certain it's even the way I want to go.
Temporarily offering a foster/rearing home for fry with a way out if I end
up not wanting the commitment of koi for life sounds very appealing!
But it makes me wonder about having a pond field day, either private ponds
or businesses. Sounds like Moorehaven, Pan Intercorp, and Monroe Aquatic
Nursery are all pretty close together in the north end. Emery's Nursery
has a large koi pond with some lovely huge fish but nothing for
sale(Lynnwood) Idea for a summer activity for those interested in ponds?
