[GSAS-Member] Trish's sarasa comets & aphids (was) Re: Aphids are sucking the life out of the pond

The hand spraying seems to be working fine on waterlily pads but they
still stick in the azolla/pistia/salvinia and in the emergent tips of
parrotfeather. But it's the waterlilies I'm most invested in anyway. And
the fish seem to like the spray....maybe they are picking off aphids and I
can't see it???

All 4 sarasa comets are doing great and I think they've grown already.
They get fed in the morning before work and in the afternoon when I get
home. Because the 150g tank is a 'new' pond, I've got some greenwater
issues because I don't have enough vascular plants in there yet. As the
vascular plants establish and grow, that should balance out. I know....I
know....I need to take photos, but I don't ever seem to get around to
charging up the battery in my camera. Stupid!
