A wise choice actually; I have found the tadpoles to be difficult, but maybe that is just me and my beginners bad luck; hopefully these new few will be different (trying different food, and inside for a while). Cliff was the source, FYI, who should get some kind of award at some point for all the stuff he his always bringing! Issac will be helping in no time... ;+) (Cliffs Issac that is Erik, I have already seen your Issac in duckweed eradication action!) I for one am really glad there were some more takers on the koi grow-out contest; it will make it so much more fun to see in October how everyone did. I have been enjoying mine a lot; pretty amazing how one day you can hardly see them with a magnifying glass, then suddenly they are quite visible. I still have trouble seeing individual fins with the naked eye on all but one of mine, but they do seem to grow no matter what you throw at them for food and most of them are definitely getting bigger by the day. In other words, I hope you enjoy the koi as much as I have; they are good practice for frogs anyway! ;+) Cheers, Connie ----- Original Message ----- From: Erik Olson<mailto:erik@thekrib.com> To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat<mailto:gsas-member@thekrib.com> Sent: Sunday, August 10, 2008 7:09 AM Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] So, how was the picnic? I mentioned to the board, he convinced us to fill an empty tank yesterday for the koi grow-out contest. -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com<mailto:GSAS-Member@thekrib.com> http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member<http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member> _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
